The Registry office (Ufficio Anagrafe) issues proof of residence certificates for European Union (EU) citizens in place of the residence card issued by the police headquarters.

What to do

If you are an EU citizen, to get your proof of residence certificate you will need to submit:

1. the application form (download one here: http://www.comune.vicenza.it/utilita/documento.php/77924

2. revenue stamps (marca da bollo) worth € 14.62

3. the documentation needed to obtain residence in the municipality.

Alternatively, you can apply when you register for residence. When you collect your proof of residence, you must give up the original of your old permit / residence card, if you have one.

30 in the morning
10 in the afternoon.
